A HISTÓRIA DE UM MUSEU DE GUERRA CRIADOPARA SE REFLETIR E CONSTRUIR A PAZInstalado na Av. Getúlio Vargas, 405, Centro, Jaraguá do Sul/SC,o museu “FEB - Museu da Paz”, apresenta ao público a história da participação do Brasil na maioroperação de guerra que o país esteve envolvido, representado pela Força Expedicionária Brasileira - FEB.
O Museu foi criado inicialmente pelo Decreto 3.410/96,de 21 de agosto de 1996, pelo então Prefeito Durval Vasel,com o nome de Casa do Expedicionário,como um anexo do Museu Histórico Emílio da Silva.Em 10 de dezembro de 2009, por meio da lei municipalnº 5.438, a Prefeita Cecília Konell determina que esta se tornasse um Museu, definindo que este seria subordinado aFundação Cultural e que passasse a se chamarFEB - Museu da Paz.

The story of a war museum created toreflect and build peace at Av Getulio Vargas, 405, downtown, Jaragua do Sul /,the museum, outstands to the public the history of Brazil's participation in the largest war operation which the country was involved, represented by the Brazilian Expeditionary Force - BEF (FEB). The museum was originally established by Decree 3,410/96 on August 21, 1996, by then Mayor Durval Vasel. It was originally named the Expeditionary House, as an attachment of Historical Museum Emilio da Silva. On December 10, 2009, by the Municipal Law Nº. 5,438, the Mayor Cecilia Konell determines the museum would be called BEF - Peace Museum and it would be subordinated to the Cultural Foundation of Jaragua do Sul. as well as the technical reserve consisting of more than 200 pieces of the BEF - Brazilian Expeditionary Force and others used by several countries involved during the 2nd World War. There are also some materials from the 1st World War. two greatest wars, symbolizing the struggles of interest and power, which triggered big changes in the world, in geographical, social, cultural and economic aspects, and its consequences affect us to the present day. that give us clues to important reflections about the Cold War, Vietnam and Korea wars, the attack to the Twin Towers (USA) and Iraq War. such as clothes and weapons, artistic and chronological scenario, illustrative banners, symbols that can lead visitors to reflect what are their own role as individuals to build a peace culture. activities - dynamic and creative, showing the value of freedom we have and part of this, due to the expeditionary soldiers, true national heroes. of the Educational Action of the Peace Museum from 2008 to 2013.
