A HISTÓRIA DE UM MUSEU DE GUERRA CRIADO
PARA SE REFLETIR E CONSTRUIR A PAZ
Instalado na Av. Getúlio Vargas, 405, Centro, Jaraguá do Sul/SC,
simbologias e outros objetos, o visitante poderá

This museological space aims to show the trajectory of the
two greatest wars, symbolizing the struggles of interest and power,
which triggered big changes in the world, in geographical, social,
cultural and economic aspects, and its consequences affect us to the present day. Reporting these historical facts means looking for the elements
that give us clues to important reflections about the Cold War,
Vietnam and Korea wars, the attack to the Twin Towers (USA)
and Iraq War. The museum, as a cultural institution, intends to exercise its social function, displaying objects from the war time,
such as clothes and weapons, artistic and chronological
scenario, illustrative banners, symbols that can
lead visitors to reflect what are their own role as individuals
to build a peace culture. To this, lectures are given and there are, often, many educational
activities - dynamic and creative, showing the value of freedom
we have and part of this, due to the expeditionary soldiers, true national heroes.
